What we collect
- Account info: email, password (hashed), and the username + display name you choose.
- Profile info you add: school, graduating year, bio, avatar URL.
- Notes you upload: title, description, school tag, and the file itself.
- Activity: votes, thank-yous, course requests, view counts on notes you visit.
- Anonymous analytics: page views, performance metrics, anonymized IP-derived geography via Vercel Analytics. No third-party advertising trackers.
What we don't collect
- Real names (unless you put one on your profile)
- Phone numbers
- Payment info — there's nothing to pay for
- Data from third-party ad networks
What we do with it
- Run the platform (auth, file hosting, voting)
- Show your uploads on your public profile and in course pages
- Send rare account emails (password resets, sign-in confirmations)
- Aggregate stats to understand what's working
We don't sell your data. Ever.
Who can see what
- Public: your username, display name, profile stats, uploads, votes, thank-yous you sent or received.
- You only: your email, password, course requests you submitted.
- Admins: can see all uploads (for moderation) and email addresses (for support).
Subprocessors
We use a few infra providers:
- Supabase (database, auth, storage) — hosts your account, files, and activity
- Vercel (hosting, analytics) — runs the website and collects anonymous traffic stats
- GitHub (source code) — hosts the application code (no user data)
Your rights
You can:
- Edit or delete your notes any time from your dashboard
- Delete your account by emailing 29pardhananij@sagehillschool.org— we'll erase your profile, notes, votes, and thank-yous within 7 days
- Request a copy of your data by email
Cookies
We use only essential cookies (auth session). No tracking or ad cookies. No cookie banner needed.
Kids
We don't target users under 13. If you're a parent and believe your child created an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We'll post any material updates on the homepage and bump the date at the top.
